Only administrators can see the audit log.

## What the log shows

The audit log lists new reports from Venzeo™ mobile devices and changes to reports: status changes, tags added, removed or set, note changes, photo edits and deleted reports. A new-report entry names the device that sent it, and every change names the user (name and email) and the report ID. Venzeo deletes entries that are older than 180 days (about 6 months).

## Find an entry

1. Open the main menu, expand **Audit logs** and choose **See audit logs**. The list starts with the newest entries.
2. Optional: Open the filter in the **Date and Time** column and pick the first and the last day. The list shows only the entries from those days.
3. Optional: Open the filter in the **Action** column and choose the action codes you want to see, such as `CHANGE_REPORT_STATE` for status changes or `NEW_REPORT` for new reports. The list updates as soon as you choose.
4. Optional: To see older entries, click **Load More**.
5. In the **Note** column, find the report ID. The note also names the user who made the change, or the device that sent a new report.
6. Optional: For a photo edit, click **Original Photo** or **Edited Photo** in the row to compare the two versions.
