Requirements of the mobile device (Android and iOS)

ANDROID DEVICE:
 

Minimum configuration:
 

• Android 8 and newer.
• Supporting Google Play and Google Play Services (some Huawei and unbranded devices are not supported);
• SIM card support with mobile phone number and 3G connectivity or better;
• RAM at least 1GB;
• Camera: back camera with resolution of at least 2MP;
• NFC reader;

Recommended configuration (for the best experience):

• Android 11 and newer.
• Supporting Google Play and Google Play Services (some Huawei and unbranded devices are not supported);
• SIM card support with mobile phone number and 4G connectivity or better;
• RAM at least 2GB;
• Storage of at least 32GB with at least 5GB of free storage;
• Camera: back camera with wide lens and resolution at least 4MP and auto-focus with LED diode for flash;
• A battery case is recommended in case battery capacity is less than 3500mAh;
• Dust and water protection (IP64, IP68) is recommended if the phone is used outside; (phone cover can protect the device in case it falls on the ground);
• Accelerometer and compass capability;
• NFC reader;

• Motorola G10, G30

Example of recommended Android tablets:

• Samsung Galaxy A7 LTE, A7 Lite LTE, A8 LTE, S6 LTE, S7 LTE, S7 5G

Not recommended Android manufacturers:

• Huawei, Xiaomi, Realme, Honor, OnePlus, ZTE, OPPO, Vivo, Lenovo (all due to security risks or bad user experience)

APPLE DEVICE:

iPhone and iPad devices with SIM card and iOS 15, iPad OS 15 and newer.

Example of recommended devices:

• iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, X, XR, XS, 11, 12, 13, 14 or newer
• iPad with SIM card support: Mini 4; Air 2; Pro or newer

TIP 1: to increase the capacity of the battery use a compatible phone cover with an additional built-in battery

TIP 2: We recommend buying one device of the new model to see if all Venzeo™ functionalities are working properly for your organization.

TIP 3: Venzeo™ mobile app works also with no internet connection. All data are sent once the device reconnects to a wifi.

WARNING 1: Android device cannot be rooted and developer mode needs to be disabled;
