Anyone who is a user in more than one organisation can switch between them. Only an administrator of an organisation can add a person or a phone to it.
Each organisation is a separate Venzeo™ account with its own users, phones, tags and reports, and its own web address. One person can be a user in several organisations with the same email address, and one phone can be activated in several organisations.
Example: a waste-collection company and its skip-hire subsidiary have separate accounts. A driver who works for both uses one phone in both organisations.
If your teams belong to one company and only need to keep their reports apart, use groups in one organisation instead. See Setting up groups for separate teams.
Switch organisation in the web interface
Switch Organization appears only when your email has web access in at least two organisations. To be added, ask the administrator of the other organisation. See Adding a new user.
- Open the main menu. If the menu is collapsed, click Show Menu.
- At the top of the menu, click the name of your organisation. Below the name you see Switch Organization.
- Choose the other organisation. Venzeo™ opens it at its own web address.
When you sign in on secure.venzeo.com as a user of several organisations, choose the organisation from the list.
Use one phone in two organisations
Ask the administrator of each organisation to send you an invitation for the Venzeo™ mobile app, and activate the phone with each invitation, see Activating the mobile app on a device. Activating the phone in the second organisation does not deactivate it in the first.
If an organisation is missing
When an organisation is missing from the list in the web interface, your email has no web access in it. When it is missing on the phone, its administrator deactivated the device or activated another device with the same phone number, or the organisation is no longer active. In both cases, ask the administrator of that organisation to add you again or to send a new invitation. See A phone doesn’t activate.
Create another organisation
To create another organisation, open secure.venzeo.com/register and sign up with your work email. Because you already belong to an organisation, Venzeo™ offers to open it or to Create new Organization. A new organisation starts with sample users, a demo device and demo reports, places of interest, projects and tags for the industry you choose, so you can try Venzeo™ before you add your own.
