Insurers and banks need photos from clients: damage after a storm, a car before insurance starts, a property before a loan. Sending an agent is slow and expensive, and photos sent by email can be old, taken elsewhere or edited.
Ask clients for photos with a Venzeo™ Request
Send the client a Venzeo™ Request by SMS. The client opens the link on their phone and follows your steps, such as “a photo of the whole car” and “a close-up of the damage”. Every photo gets a trusted time and GPS position, so you know it was taken now and on site. Use the claim number as the custom ID. Banks can send the same kind of request to check a property or a car before a loan. See Requesting photos from someone outside your team by SMS.
Example: after a hailstorm, a claims handler sends a request to each affected client, who photographs the damage on site.
Tag claims by type
Use a tag (previously called type) category for the claim type, such as hail, flood, fire or vehicle damage, so handlers can filter their own claims. See Adding and editing tags (types) for reports.
Follow each claim with statuses
Use statuses for the claim process, for example New, Under review, More photos needed, Approved and Rejected. See Tracking report progress with statuses.
Keep a record of every change
The audit log shows who changed a report’s tags, status or photos, and when. See Checking who changed a report in the audit log.
