Drain and sewer crews clean separators, gullies and pipes that nobody sees afterwards. The customer has to trust that the work was done, and a job that could not be done (a parked car over the gully, a locked shaft) looks the same as a job that was skipped.
Make each job a project
Create a project for each job or order, with the order number from your system as the custom ID, so all photos of a job with seven separators sit together. Orders can arrive from your ERP through the Venzeo™ API. See Grouping reports by project.
Record before and after with one tag category
Add a tag (previously called type) category such as Cleaning status with the tags Before, After – completed and After – not completed. Add a category for the reason when the work could not be done, with tags such as Blocked access or Locked shaft. A not-completed job with a photo of the parked car turns “not done” into “could not be done”. See Grouping tags into categories.
Example: a drain cleaning company keeps its job status in a Cleaning status category and needs no report statuses at all.
Alert the office on emergencies
Give crews an Emergency tag and send an email alert on it to the dispatcher on duty, so night call-outs are on record and nobody has to phone. See Activating an email alert notification.
Send the proof to the customer
Filter the reports of a job and send the customer a PDF or a link. The customer needs no account. See Exporting filtered reports.
