An outdoor advertising company posts, replaces and repairs posters on many boards. Advertisers want proof that their campaign is posted and looks good. Without photos linked to each board and campaign, the office collects them by hand from crews before every client report.
Make each billboard a place of interest with a QR code
Create a place of interest for each board, with your board number as the custom ID and its GPS position. Put a QR code or NFC tag with that ID on the board. The crew scans it, so each report shows which board it belongs to, and the Places of Interest view lists all its reports. See Setting up places of interest (POIs).
Make each campaign a project
Create a project for each campaign or order, with the order number as the custom ID and From/To dates for the campaign period. Crews pick the ongoing campaign when they post, so all photos of one advertiser are in one place. See Grouping reports by project.
Example: a crew posts a new campaign on a board, scans its QR code, picks the campaign and takes a photo of the finished poster.
Tag the work and the quality
Use tags (previously called types) for the work done, such as New poster, Replaced poster, Repair, Cleaning and Free space. Add a quality category, such as Perfect, Good and Major issues, and tags for damage, such as Graffiti and Torn poster. See Adding and editing tags (types) for reports.
Show advertisers proof of posting with a public link
Filter the reports of one campaign and share them as a public link. The advertiser opens it without an account and sees each board with a time-stamped photo. You can deactivate the link when the campaign ends. See Sharing a live view of reports.
Send damage reports to maintenance
Set an email alert on Graffiti, Torn poster and Major issues, so the maintenance crew knows which board to fix. The alert goes out only when a new report has that tag. See Activating an email alert notification.
