Any user with web access can create web reports. If you don’t see Create web report in the Reports menu, ask support@venzeo.com to turn on web reports.
A web report is useful when the photos are already on your computer, for example photos a customer sent by email. Your organisation’s settings decide whether a report takes a place of interest, an address or either, and whether the asset, project and task fields appear.
Create a report
- Open the main menu and, under Reports, choose Create web report. The Create Web Report pop-up opens with Create one web report selected.
- Under Photos, drag at least one photo into the field or select it from your computer. You can add up to 20 photos of at most 30 MB each.
- Set the location under Place of Interest or Address: select a place of interest, or choose Address manually typed and search for the address.
- Optional: under Choose date and time, set when the photos were taken; future dates are blocked. When a photo contains its date, Venzeo™ fills it in. Without a date, the report gets the time you save it.
- Optional: attach the report to an asset, a project or a task under Assets, Assigned Project or Task.
- Optional: choose a Status. Without one, the report gets your default status.
- Under Tags & Categories, select at least one tag.
- Optional: write a Note within the report, up to 500 characters.
- Click Save.
The pop-up closes, Successfully saved appears and the report list opens with the new report.
Note: If your organisation requires an asset or a place of interest on every report, you cannot save until you select one.
How a web report differs from a mobile report
A web report carries the label Web report > without certification. It shows your colleagues that the report was created in the web interface and not sent from the certified Venzeo™ mobile app.
To create many reports at once, see Uploading reports from a CSV file. To fix or censor a photo after saving, see Editing images.
