Anyone in your organisation can use the Venzeo™ mobile app once an administrator has activated it on their phone or tablet.
The Venzeo™ mobile app records every photo and video with a trusted timestamp and GPS location, and the Venzeo system certifies the report.
Customising the app
The app looks minimal at first, so anyone can pick it up quickly. More advanced features are there when your organisation needs them.
You can adapt the app in two places:
- in the Venzeo web administration, where administrators decide what the app shows to everyone,
- in the settings inside the app, on each phone or tablet.
Tip: Many features are only visible when an administrator turns them on. If you are missing something, ask your administrator.
What you can do with the app
- Take photos and record videos with GPS location and timestamp.
- Draw on a photo to highlight something.
- Get a warning when a photo looks blurred.
- Describe the situation with tags.
- Add a note, typed or dictated by voice.
- Add a handwritten signature.
- Link the report to:
- projects or orders,
- places of interest,
- assets (physical items),
- tasks.
The app sends each report securely to the Venzeo web app, where your team can see, share and archive it. Without an internet connection, the app keeps the report on the device and sends it once the device is back online.
Activating the app
The app must be activated before its first use. Your administrator does this in one of two ways:
- with a QR code that you scan,
- with a secure activation link sent by SMS.

One-time requests by SMS
Sometimes the person who needs to send photos does not use Venzeo every day, for example a customer, or someone at a bank or insurance company doing a remote inspection. For them, administrators can send a Venzeo™ Request via SMS.
The person receives a secure link by SMS or WhatsApp. The link guides them step by step through:
- taking the photos you asked for,
- answering your text questions.
The result is a certified report, saved automatically and ready for you to review.
Administrators create these requests from the main menu: expand Tasks and choose Create Venzeo™ Request via SMS. The option appears only when the feature is turned on for your organisation.
